Bayern Munich put on a sensational display of attacking football as they thrashed Dinamo Zagreb 9-2 in their Champions League group stage opener on Tuesday.
Robert Lewandowski was the star of the show, scoring four goals to take his tally for the season to 10. The Polish striker opened the scoring in the 12th minute and added three more in the second half.
Davies and Gnabry Shine
Alphonso Davies and Serge Gnabry also impressed for Bayern, scoring two goals each. Davies scored a stunning volley from outside the box in the first half, while Gnabry netted twice in the second half.
Dinamo's Consolation
Dinamo Zagreb managed to pull two goals back through Petar Bockaj and Robert Ljubicic, but it was a mere consolation as Bayern dominated the game from start to finish.

Bayern's victory extends their unbeaten run in all competitions to 19 games. They have now scored 25 goals in their last five matches.
The result leaves Bayern top of Group E after the first round of fixtures. They will travel to face Inter Milan in their next Champions League match on October 2.
Lewandowski's Record
Lewandowski's four goals against Dinamo Zagreb took his tally in the Champions League to 89, moving him level with Karim Benzema in the all-time scoring charts.
The Polish striker is now just four goals behind Cristiano Ronaldo, who is the all-time top scorer in the competition with 140 goals.
