Olympiacos Advances to Next Round Despite Loss
Fenerbahce defeated Olympiacos 3-2 on penalties in the third and final game of their Euroleague playoff series on Wednesday night. The match was tied 2-2 on aggregate after the first two games, so the winner was decided by a penalty shootout.
Alexander Djiku scored the winning penalty for Fenerbahce in the bottom right corner to give his team the victory. Olympiacos had a chance to tie the shootout in the final penalty, but Andreas-Richardos Ntoi1203 sent his shot over the crossbar.
Fenerbahce will now advance to the next round of the playoffs, where they will face the winner of the series between Partizan Belgrade and Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz.
